Hours of Operation

The Centre for Integrative Wellness is open to serve you:

Monday – CLOSED

Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch)
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch)

Hours of Operation for Innomar Strategies Infusion Clinic :

Monday – Friday: OPEN (please call 403-247-8003 ext. 229 for specific hours)

Saturday: CLOSED

The clinic will be closed on designated national and provincial holidays.

Privacy Policy: We know how important it is to keep your health information confidential. We ensure that your paper and electronic medical records are safe and secure. These will only be released with your consent to Alberta Health, your private insurance company, other medical professionals directly involved with your care, or as required by provincial and federal laws. For more legal information, please refer to our disclaimer.

Full Disclosure of Information: In order to ensure you receive the best and most comprehensive care, we encourage you to disclose as much information about your health, lifestyle, habits, addictions, attitudes, and behaviours as possible. If we require any information from your family physician, we will work with you to receive records disclosure.
Health Insurance: Complementary and integrative health care is generally not covered under the Alberta Health Act, therefore, many of our services will not be compensated by Alberta Health Services insurance. The majority of the services offered at Centre for Integrative Wellness can be paid with cash, or credit card. We can also suggest insurance companies that may cover regular services through Centre for Integrative Wellness.

Emergency Services: For emergencies after hours, please visit your nearest hospital. The doctors on call can inform our office of any particular issues, if you so choose to have that information released. If your issue can wait until the next morning, then we will do our best to schedule an appointment with one of our appropriate specialists.

Fees: Fees are set by each practitioner. We encourage you to ask for a fee menu before, during and after any visit. If the visit runs overtime, you may be charged for the extra time unless the practitioner decides otherwise. Initial consultation costs may vary from practitioner to practitioner.

Payment Methods: We accept: Cash, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, and Debit (we do not accept AMEX).

Missed Payments: Please visit with or call our Office Administrator (Maria Serban) if you are ever unable to pay the amount due when billed. Payment plans are also available. If an outstanding payment goes to collection, you are responsible for the outstanding balance and the fee charged by the agency. Again, please call us if you cannot make a payment. We try our best to work with you regarding payments as conveniently as possible.

Making an Appointment: To book an appointment with a practitioner, please contact our office directly at 403-247.8003 at least 24-48 hours in advance. If we are unable to fit you in at the requested time, we will do our best to book a time that is convenient. If you require a phone call reminder, please request it at time of booking with your proper phone number.

Please respect our time: We encourage you to arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment, so that you can complete any necessary paperwork or answer any enquiries without delaying your appointment. If you are late (or anticipate that you will be delayed), please contact us immediately. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment at another time and day.

New Patients: As a new visitor to Centre for Integrative Wellness, we invite you come in to our office at least 30 minutes early to fill out any forms or answer any questions we may have.  Please bring with you the required Centre for Integrative Wellness Forms

Established Patients: When making an appointment for someone who is already a patient at the Centre, our receptionist will ask for the name of the patient, the reason for the appointment and the name of their doctor or specialist.

Cancellations: If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment or need to change the time or date, please call our appointment desk to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This will allow another patient to be scheduled for that time. If you do not inform us within the 24-hour period, you will be charged half of the appointment fee. We realize that you have a busy life and schedule; therefore we will do our best to run on time. We appreciate your patience as we try to give each person the best possible care. Feel free to call ahead to find out whether or not your practitioner is on time.

Missed Appointments: We can re-schedule a missed appointment only twice. However, the second appointment needs to be secured with a minimum of 50% of the appointment charge. If appointment is kept, the charge will go towards the co-pay for that day’s visit. If appointment is still missed without prior notice, a minimum of 50% of the appointment will not be refunded and there will be a No-Show Fee.

Cancellation and No-Show: If you need to cancel your appointment or change your appointment, please do so as soon as possible. If your cancellation does not occur at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, you may be charged for that appointment. If you no-show for a scheduled appointment, you will also be charged for that missed appointment. For three (3) consecutive missed appointments without prior notice, the clinic may take the option to deny any more visits.

Patient Forms: Each patient is required to fill out one or more of our forms before their first appointment with any of our practitioners. If you are unable to print them out ahead of time, please inform us and we can provide you with copies. It is best to arrive at least 30 minutes at our office to fill out any required forms before your appointment.

Returned Medicine: You may return some unopened herbal medicines within 30 days of purchase for a refund except for the following items: any acidophilus products, suppositories, compounded hormones and amino acids, and specially ordered, assembled items and custom blended herbal formulas.

Unattended Children: Please note that our office does not allow and are not responsible for unattended children (under 12 years old) in our waiting room.

Cell Phones/Bluetooth/Tablets: We request that while you are in an examination or IV room, that you turn off your phone or other digital communication devices. If you have to make an emergency call, please conduct it in the hallway outside the clinic doors.

Scent Free Policy: We maintain a scent-free and smoke-free environment, out of respect for patients with allergies and sensitivities. We ask that you refrain from wearing perfumes and colognes on the days that you will be visiting the clinic. If you smoke, we also ask that you refrain from smoking immediately before entering the clinic.

Clothing: If you are coming in for an acupuncture or IV treatment, we encourage you to wear loose and comfortable clothing.
Ipods, tablets and music players: If you are receiving an IV treatment, you are allowed to use an Ipod for listening, viewing and relaxing. We ask that you keep the volume in your earbuds a little lower so that others sitting near you are not interrupted by the sound. We also offer reading material for your pleasure.

Food and Drink: We offer a variety of teas, juices and water for patients, as well as healthy snacks such as nuts and dried fruit.

Termination of a Clinician/Client Relationship: Sometimes, the doctor/patient relationship just does not work. It can be for various reasons:

  • If you feel you are not compatible with your clinician, arrangements can be made to be seen by another clinician.
  • Failure to adhere to a clinician’s recommended plan may result in the discontinuation of treatment or services.
  • Failure to meet financial obligations may result in the discontinuation of services by your clinician.
  • In the event of disruptive or inappropriate behaviour towards clinicians or employees, care may be terminated.
  • The Centre for Integrative Wellness does not tolerate vulgarity, obscenity or items of a graphic nature at any time.
  • Dishonesty or deceit in any way may require termination of treatment.
